Distributor Goes Above and Beyond in Response to Hurricane Irma

With Accuform positioned in the direct path of Hurricane Irma, distributor partner G/O Corporation offered a helping hand in time of need.

G/O Corp President Ty Finley reached out to his Accuform account manager, Cathy Andreu, the day after Hurricane Irma disturbed Florida. Since Irma caused extensive damage to large parts of Florida, he wanted to check on the safety of what he calls his Accuform family.

“We have a pallet of tarps ready to go to you! We love how you guys are always giving and we want to do this for you! We thought about the Accuform family first, but if no one there needs it then you guys can donate it to the charities you work with,” said Ty.

Before G/O even knew what the immediate need was, they were ready to expedite a skid with eight 20’x 100’ tarps to us on their dime.

But they didn’t stop there.

Finley contacted their AAA Cooper representative to make sure the skid would be delivered as soon as possible.

What Finley and G/O didn’t realize was - the need was great. Within less than one hour of announcing the tarps were received, all eight of them would be spoken for by those that truly needed them.

“We had many distributors calling us with well-wishes, which were much appreciated. Ty’s efforts took it to a whole new level, and we’re thankful we have such great partners,” said Wayne Johnson, CEO of Accuform.

With grateful hearts, the Accuform family would like to express thanks to all distributors – especially G/O - for thinking of us during and after Irma. We appreciate your continued support and all you do!

Accuform was very lucky - the building was spared and operational within hours of Irma passing through Brooksville.
